Personality: Renjiro is somewhat arrogant, due to his power. This is something he sees as something good about himself, although others may see it as a character flaw. Renjiro can be a nice, caring kind of person, but his pride can be a minor character flaw.

Hyuuga Jutsus

Byakugan - All Seeing Eyes : Byakugan, one of the Bloodline Limits the Hyuuga clan possesses. It’s a jutsu activated in the eyes, much like the Sharingan. But if we look at its ability of insight alone, it exceeds the sharingan. This jutsu allows the user's vision to see a full 360 degrees. Byakugan also has the ability to view the inner coil system of a person's body, and in advanced cases, the chakra holes. Because of this, Byakugan is used in combination with Hyuuga’s Style Taijutsu. Attacking the inner organs, disabling or even killing their opponent, without even hitting them.

Hakke Kuushou/ Eight Divination Signs Air Palm - Hakke Kuushou is a ranged Taijutsu technique utilized by Hyuuga Neji. Extending chakra from his body, Neji will thrust his palm at his target. This will send out an invisible wave of chakra that can knock his opponent back. It is unknown if this wave can also collapse his target's tenketsu points.

Hakke Rokujuuyonshou - Eight Divination Signs, Sixty-Four Palms of the Hand - Hakke Rokujuuyonshou is a Taijutsu technique unique to the Hyuuga bloodline. Hakke Rokujuuyonshou is a special technique passed down through the main family line. When an opponent is within the clan members divination field of attack, they can quickly begin their assault. The technique allows the clan member to use the Byakugan eye to see the inner chakra coils system. Using the Jyuuken style, they can force their chakra through their hands into the tenketsu of the opponent's body through 126 strikes. First the clan member will strike 2 times, then 4, 8, 16, 32 and finally 64. This damage forceably closes 64 tenketsu, stopping the chakra flow of the opponent. This then limits their opponents ability to use jutsu.

Hakke Hyakunijuuhachishou - Eight Divination Signs, One-Hundred and Twenty-Eight Palms of the Hand - Hakke Hyakunijuuhachishou is a Taijutsu technique unique to the Hyuuga bloodline. Hakke Hyakunijuuhachishou is a variation of Hakke Rokujuuyonshou, a technique passed down through the main family line. When an opponent is within the clan members divination field of attack, they can quickly begin their assault. The technique allows the clan member to use the Byakugan eye to make nearly double the normal 126 strikes, striking 254 times against their individual foe or opponents. First the clan member will strike 2 times, then 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 and finally 128 times.

Hakkeshou Kaiten - Eight Divination Palms of the Hand, Heavenly Spin - Hakkeshou Kaiten is a Taijutsu technique unique to the Hyuuga bloodline using the Jyuuken. Kaiten is a special technique passed down through the main family line. Kaiten takes advantage of several of the unique abilities of the Byakugan eye. Byakugan gives the clan member an almost complete 360 degree view of their surroundings. This allows the member to see all angles of attack.

If an attack is near, the clan member will release a large of amount of chakra from their tenketsu. The member then begins to spin like a top, creating a whirling vortex that can nullify almost any attack.


Shugo Hakke Rokujuuyonshou - Guardian Eight Divination Signs, Sixty-Four Palms of the Hand
- Shugo Hakke Rokujuuyonshou is a Taijutsu technique developed by Hyuuga Hinata. During the period after the Chuunin Exam, Hinata pushed herself harder than ever before. During this time she improved her chakra control and developed her own style within the Hyuuga bloodline abilities. She practiced the technique around water to hone it to perfection. Utilizing the Hakke Rokujuuyonshou style, Hinata uses her natural flexibility and her precise chakra control to create an absolute defense.

Hinata will emit chakra from her palms and move her arms in sweeping pattern movements to provide a full 360 degree range of protection for her body. This chakra will be also be able to cut through most any target which dares penetrate the protective sphere. By expelling a more sharper, stronger and more flexible amount of chakra, she can increase it's effectiveness against more massive incoming objects.

Chidori - Chidori is a Ninjutsu technique developed by Hatake Kakashi utilizing the Lightning Element. Chidori allows him to cut through any foe. Later, Uchiha Sasuke used his Sharingan and the training of Kakashi to also learn the technique. It was given the nickname Raikiri after it was said Kakashi used the technique to cut a lightning bolt in two. Chidori is used for assassination purposes. Activating the body to focus chakra to the hand, Kakashi and Sasuke's hand become enveloped by an electrical force. This force is their chakra altered in nature to an electrical current. By altering the shape of the force, similar to an electrical discharge, they can decide the power and range of the attack.

After concentrating all the chakra into the arm, Kakashi and Sasuke use their quickness and the power of the thrust from the chakra to pierce any object with the extended forearm. Because their opponent can easily counter the attack, it requires a Sharingan user to make the technique worthwhile. The Sharingan will allow them to predict any moves their opponent decides to make and send their strike home into the target. Due to the high speed, the force emits a sound like a thousand birds chirping which gave the technique its name. Because of the great amount of chakra needed to utilize the technique, the technique can only be used so many times during the day.

Chidori Nagashi - Thousand Birds Current - Chidori Nagashi is a Ninjutsu technique developed by Uchiha Sasuke out of the original Chidori technique. Instead of merely focusing the electrical force to his body, Sasuke is able to extend it outside of his body and through objects which he is holding. This allows him to create a protective zone around his person. This zone of electricity can shock and immobilize his foes, presumably by attacking their nervous system.

Used in conjunction with his Kusanagi sword, the blade becomes almost unstoppable. It takes on Chidori's natural ability to cut through anything which stands in its path, allowing the sword to strike its target with ease. Should the sword strike a human, the charge will cause the target to go numb, lessening their ability

Kage Bunshin no Jutsu - Shadow clone jutsu - Similar to the Clone Technique, this jutsu creates clones of the user. Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. They can also disperse on their own. Unlike other clones, they can't be detected by the Byakugan because the clones have the exact same amount of chakra and aren't made from any other substance, making them indistinguishable from the actual person. Sasuke Uchiha claims that the Sharingan can tell the difference during his battle with Naruto at the Valley of the End, albeit they might just make him able to keep an eye on the original, Naruto.

Any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. This makes the technique ideal for spying, since the user can simply send a clone to spy on a target, then have the clone disperse itself without returning to pass the information back to the user. It's also useful for training purposes, since the total amount of experience the user gains is multiplied by the total number of clones being used to train. Using it in this manner is far more difficult, however, since a large number of clones are needed to make a significant difference in the training time. It's unclear if other types of clones possess this advantage.

This technique is considered dangerous because of the manner in which the clones are created. Because the user divides their chakra among the clones, the user could potentially use up all their chakra fairly quickly if the user is low on chakra or makes too many clones, such as Naruto does with Multiple Shadow Clone Technique, this jutsu's enhanced (and forbidden) form. Naruto is able to use this technique to the extremes that he does because of his tailed beast, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox, which gives him an abnormally high chakra level. Even without the demon fox's chakra, Naruto can make quite a few clones, but nowhere near on the level he can when he has access to the demon fox's chakra, creating up til 1999 clones, during his fight with Gaara, and possibly even more during his training, in Part II. The technique can also be dangerous if the user is injured or has some otherwise debilitating physical condition at the time of the cloning, since all of the clones will be created in roughly the same state.

Rasengan - The Rasengan is a technique invented by the Fourth Hokage, after three years of development, though it was never completed. The Rasengan was meant to be an example of nature manipulation as the Fourth meant to combine his chakra element with the Rasengan. However, he died before he could accomplish this. Despite this, the Rasengan is still a very useful, if difficult to learn, jutsu. As Jiraiya trained Naruto how to use it, learning the Rasengan was broken into three steps. The first was to burst a water balloon by spinning the water inside in multiple directions at once using only the user's chakra, which emphasizes rotation. Then the user needs to burst a rubber ball, and since rubber is thicker and air is completely different from water, it forces the user to use denser chakra to break it, this step emphasizes power. The last is to combine steps one and two by spinning chakra inside a balloon without making it move at all.

Rasengan doesn't use handsigns, it relies only on the chakra control of the user, and once it's complete, it becomes self-sustaining. The chakra spinning at such a speed and compacted into such a small state allows the spinning chakra to grind whatever it comes in contact with, causing major damage to it, and can even cause internal damage. And because the Rasengan is just pure chakra, it doesn't have a definite limit of use like its counterpart, the Chidori has.

While the Rasengan is a one-handed technique, in Part I, Naruto has to use three or more hands to use it, mostly due to his poor chakra control. He requires to use of his one hand to create the shell, and a shadow clone's hands to spin the chakra. When he goes into his one-tailed transformation, he was able to make a Rasengan using his hand to spin and the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's chakra shield to create the shell. Because he mixed it with the demon fox's chakra, the Rasengan had a purplish glow, making it equal in power to Sasuke's Flapping Chidori.

While in training, Naruto improved the Rasengan with the Odama Rasengan, or Great Ball Rasengan. Later Naruto mixed his Wind natured chakra to create the Wind Release: Rasengan as it was originally intended.

The Wind Release: Rasenshuriken - The Wind Release: Rasenshuriken is a variation of the Wind Release: Rasengan, similar to the Great Ball Rasengan being a variation of the standard Rasengan. By manipulating the wind chakra of the Wind Release: Rasengan, Naruto was able to create four large points, making the Rasengan appear as a giant shuriken, the Rasengan in the center remaining a perfect sphere. Despite the name, because the Rasengan is a handheld jutsu, the Rasenshuriken can not be thrown, instead Naruto has to figure out a way to get close enough to his opponent and hit them. If successful, the victim becomes trapped in a vortex of wind chakra blades that attack the body on a cellular level. The wind chakra severs the chakra and nerve channels in the body.

The main drawback of the Rasenshuriken is that it is a double-edged sword. While it can utterly reap any opponent trapped in the vortex, it also damages the users body. When Naruto used the Rasenshuriken twice on Kakuzu, it resulted him with limited cellular damage and a few broken bones. The Fifth Hokage has hence decreed the Rasenshuriken as a Kinjutsu, forbidding it as it could cause Naruto unable to mold chakra at all.

Raikiri - The lightning Blade - The Lightning Blade, is an enhanced form of the Chidori, with the same effects and drawbacks, but more power. Kakashi learned how to perform this ninjutsu before Kakashi Gaiden but was not able to sustain it long enough to connect. He finally made it work after a lightning bolt struck him and gave him enough power to use it and take revenge for Obito Uchiha's death. It is also said that Kakashi cut a lightning bolt in half with this technique. The first time he used it and the legend of him splitting said lightning bolt are speculated to be the origin of its name. Because the Chidori is already powerful on its own, the Raikiri requires much more chakra and better chakra control, which is examplfied in its appearance. The Chidori appears as simply a mass of white electrical chakra in the user's hand, the Raikiri is more focused and blue. Like the Chidori, Kakashi can use the technique four times a day, which is an incredible feat, considering the intensity and chakra requirements. As seen when Orochimaru was talking to Kakashi after he used the Evil Sealing Method on Sasuke, he can apparently form the Raikiri at will without any hand seals. Somewhere in the time-skip, Kakashi developed the ability to cast the technique on both of his hands, which has only been seen while fighting the Akatsuki member Kakuzu.

Academy Jutsus

Bunshin no Jutsu - Clone Technique : Everyone is required to know this. Requirement to Graduate as a Genin. This is a basic jutsu. It creates illusions of the caster, in other words: clones. These are basic clones that aren't real. If they are hit by something, they automatically disappear.

Kawarimi no Jutsu - Body Replacement Skill : It's implied in the name. The user switches his or her body with a plant, animal or anything for that matter. This is used to escape dangerous situations such as many sharp projectiles being flung at the person. Sometimes you can damage your opponent with this attack even.

Henge no Jutsu - Art of Transformation : A basic shinobi skill. Transforms the user into another different appearance. Whether they transform into another person or turn into a material thing such as a shuriken, doesn't matter.

Shunshin no Jutsu - This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily boost the user's reflexes. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance between the user and their intended destination. Shisui Uchiha, one of the most talented Uchiha, was feared as "Shisui of the Body Flicker" ("Shunshin no Shisui"), likely referring to this technique.

The Body Flicker technique has various variations among the different hidden villages, all of which involve some extra element aside from the movement itself. The extra element is usually some sort of substance used to distract the opponent, such as leaves or sand. Gaara, for instance, uses the "Sand Body Flicker" (砂瞬身, Suna-Shunshin), which uses sand to cover his movements.

History/Background Story: Renjiro is a would-be normal boy. But he comes from the cadet branch of the Hyuuga clan, so there is a lot of trauma and tension in Renjiro's life. When Renjiro was only three, he had the cadet branch seal of the Hyuuga clan placed on him. Renjiro didn't think it was important, as things like that happened to all cadet members. But Renjiro was around five when he noticed the strain between the main and cadet branches of his clan. He didn't understand, didn't want to understand why his family were so hostile towards each other. It pained him to think that the family could not just set aside differences and all be a clan together, not a clan divided. But this was not to be, as his father resisted against the main branch of the clan when Renjiro was six, and as so, Renjiro's father was destroyed. Luckily Renjiro had been outside training, rather then witness his own father's death. Over the years, Renjiro's bitterness lead to him lashing out at others. This lead to his overall individualism, as no one wanted to be around Renjiro because of his attitude. But Renjiro has turned that around, although he still feels bitterness towards his clan's main branch.

Roleplay Sample: Renjiro woke up one morning, feeling drowsy. He got out of bed and pulled out a bowl, a spoon and a glass. He got a box of cereal and poured some into the bowl, then poured some milk into the bowl. He got some orange juice out of his refrigerator and poured some into his glass. After breakfast, Renjiro was enthusiastic and ready to train. He set off to the Academy, feeling refreshed and ready for learning. After school, Renjiro decided to wander off to the forest. He tried using his Hakke Rokujuu Yanshou on a tree stump, and the stump broke in half. 'I...I have... I've gotten stronger!' Renjiro thought proudly, continuing his training.
