When Kiue Jin is off duty, no one pays any attention to him, or even know he is there unless he talks to them. This is not because he is plain or easy to miss, however. The reason behind this is because, while on duty, Kiue Jin dresses, speaks, and acts in such an outrages fashion, that no one can connect that both the on duty and off duty him are the same person.

While on duty, his combo of fashon styles shows off the mixed colours of his blue and brown eyes. Normally, he wears blindingly bright light blue pants, a matching fur coat and vest, and to top it all off, a red and white striped top hat.

Despite what Kiue acts or dresses like, he is both smart, and surprisingly, sane. He chose to appear crazy in the eyes of the ninja world in order to stand above the rest of his fellow genin. Though weaker in hand to hand combat, Kiue was naturally well rounded in everything else. He knew that, since he wasn't great at any one thing, he would be doomed if he contined down the road he was going. So, he put on a red and white striped top hat, and has never looked back. His fighting style is a mix between a number of mental styles, mostly made up of both jutsu and puppet arts.

When he was younger, his mum wouldn't let him outside to play with the other kids because she thought it would make his body so weak that he would forget about the idea. Instead, Kiue used his time indoors to sharpen his skills in other fields, which, giving an idea by watching a puppet show from his bedroom window, lead to his skill with puppets, and the creation of his two puppets, Banjo and Cao. Once Kiue became a genin, His parents stopped trying to change his mind about being a ninja and started to live with it.

When he first became a genin, he knew that, since he was a jack of all trades instead of a master of anything, he would never stand out from the crowd, and thus could only go so far in the ninja world. So, a week before he was going to be put into a team for the first time, He set a well laid trap. He recreated his fighting style, creating a form of combat that no one could take seriously, and started to dress and act in a way that matched his new style. The plan he had come up with was that if no one takes you seriously, and they think your an easy target, they will let down their guard, leaving them open to attack, and falling into Kiue's permeant trap. After three years of acting like the fool he wanted the world to think he was, he is quite pleased with the results. Though he doesn't fight other people often, he has never been defeated in combat, a record he plans to keep.

Oddly enough, Kiue is the head of the ninja branch of his clan. While he has both his mother and father, they are both part of the Konoha trading branch of the family. The ninja part (Which Kiue is a member of by choice.) was killed off four years before Kiue was born, ending with the last head of the clan, Eliphas Jin. Eliphas went insane for some unknown reason, forged a suit of armor and a sword that could combat the Hyuuga clan, sneaked into the Hyuuga compound and went on a killing spree. A number of people died in the little remembered Eliphas Treason. Eliphas was hung for his crimes against the Hyuuga.

It had been a very long, hard day. Kiue was in the one place he could truly be himself without anyone judging him, His bedroom.

As he looked over the old, dusty treasures he had gathered over the years, he felt a hint of pride has he saw, for the first time in over a year, the remains of his very first puppet, Midnight. As he ran his hand over the burnt remains of what had been his friend growing up, he sadly recalled the day that his house had burnt down, damaging his puppet to badly to be repaired. Kiue had thought of remaking Midnight a number of times, but he couldn't do it yet. The wood that Midnight had been made out of was quite rare, and took a long time to fully grow. Kiue had spent a long time looking for a tree nearby, and found one, but it was yet to be fully grown. Kiue gave his puppet one last look and said out loud " Just two more months."

As he started to make his way to his bed, he almost tripped over a spare puppet arm that had been left on the ground. As he picked it up and put it with the rest of his puppets spare parts, he shot a glance over at his current puppets, the jack in the box puppet duo, Banjo and Cao. He had always thought that all his puppets were, like people, different, even if it was only a little, but Banjo and Cao had something no other puppet had. Kiue had, when he had made them, crafted both of them a voice box. All this did was when Kiue channeled his voice through ether Banjo or Cao, they would say his words in their own voice. He smiled at the idea. He had been the first to think of it, and it was so easy to do.

After changing, Kiue finally laid down in his own bed for the first time in days, and by the time he closed his eyes, he was asleep.

Jutsu Description: Made from the wood of an almost extinct tree, the puppet known as Nightmare is...strange. It has a shine like a blackened mirror, to start with. The wood itself is completely fire-proof, and no living thing could drive something into it to save their lives. The puppet itself is hollow, due to it being more like a battle armor then a puppet. Nightmare appears to be a suit of armor worn by a long dead empire, expect for its left hand. The left arm is crafted in the shape of an unknown monsters head.

Time to make: Two weeks.

Time spent training: Half an hour.

It was late when Kiue sat down at his desk, and he could barely keep his eyes open as the lead of his pencil scratched its way across the paper as a single candle burned away. As the hours wore on, the plans for rebuilding Midnight, Kiue's first puppet were slowly but surely taking shape. However, before he was finished, Kiue couldn't fight sleep any longer, and fell asleep in his seat. The dream he had wasn't a nice one.

Finding himself in the middle of a battleground, all Kiue saw were the bodies of the dead and the flames that lit up the night sky. Hearing a noise behind him, Kiue turned around, and saw a figure moving towards him. He then woke up.

Looking down at the plans in front of him, Kiue almost screamed. Looking back at him was the figure that had been in his dream. It appeared that he had continued drawing after falling asleep. Kiue looked over the plans, and saw that it was possible, if he used the old parts of Midnight. He renamed this monster "Nightmare" on the spot.

Jutsu Name: Teddy Bear Trap Jutsu.

Jutsu Description: One of the jutsu created to enforce Kiue's act of insanity, The Teddy Bear Trap would have to be one of the craziest attacks Kiue has come up with. Creating an image of what one might say is the cutest teddy bear on earth, the user then uses puppet strings to make the bear walk towards their target and give it a hug. Small, skin deep blades coated with a non- lethal poison hidden within the bears arms inject the poison into said target. This jutsu tends to work better on ninjas of the female sex, since most males are revolted by how cute the bear is.

Training Required: Two months of puppetry.

Time spent training: Three months.

Role-playing example of the jutsu in action: It had been a long time, but it had been worth it. After three months of stop and go working, Kiue had, after all this time, gotten results.

He had succeed in recreating the teddy bear just right. Many of the earlier tests had started off cute, but started to change into ugly monsters within the first two hours of their 'birth'. But this one hadn't changed within five. Seeing that one had made it past this important first test, Kiue decided to move onto stage two of testing: Combat.

Later, as Kiue saw a female genin up the street from where he was, he saw his chance to test the bear. Creating a new one in a puff of smoke, Kiue used his chaka strings to march the bear up to the genin. After a few screams of delight from the girl in question, She reached down, picked up the bear, and gave it a hug. The bear returned the hug, injected her with a non- lethal though a thin blade hidden in it's arm, leaving only a scratch. The girl wobbled for a few seconds, before hitting the ground. Kiue quickly went to check on the girl, only to find her knocked out.

A small smile came across Kiue's face. " Worked like a charm."
