search for the seven swords

zabuza was walking through the library in the kirigakure academy looking for books to learn new, more powerful ninjutsu. he walked past a fantasy section, it was smaller than the other sections that were full of jutsu manuals and scrolls, but none the less his eyes skimmed lightly over the books. he noticed at the very bottom row a book lay covered in dust and had other books stacked on top of it. he withdrew it from the shelves and blew away the dirt. once the dust blew away the title of the ancient tome was revealed "the legend of the seven swordsmen".

zabuza recalled one of the few memorys he had of his father, when he was a small child his father had told him the story of a legendary swordsman, who was one of the seven swordsman of kirigakure.(warning flashback ) zabuza remembered that night, even if it was a blur he could still remember the story of the legendary swordsman. zabuza was still only a few years old, he an his father were on the run from kirigakure. zabuza laid curled up in a pile of blankets, his father was sat at the door of the tent, bathed in a cape of shadows cast by the small fire. his father was silent until zabuza asked him to tell a story. 'alright' said his father 'i shall tell you the story of the legendary swordsman, the man after which you are named, zabuza momochi'.

'some years ago, a boy named zabuza momochi was born and subjected to the kirigakure academy. back then the hidden mist village was known as the hidden blood mist village because of our harsh academy graduation test. children who had grown up with each other, who had formed bonds close to that of brotherhood were put into a deathmatch. one of these graduation tests went wrong, one child, instead of killing just his opponent killed all the children in bloodlust. this child was zabuza momochi. this child became one of kirigakures strongest shinobi and earned the name of "the demon of the mist" after a while zabuza grew in power and gained a great sword, as long as the tallest man, the head chopping cleaver. zabuza then turned into a missing nin after leaving the village in search of the accomplishment of his own dreams. i heard rumors that he died a little while ago, slain by nothing more than a few konoha genin.' zabuzas memory then ended for he had fallen asleep that night and could remember no more of those times.

zabuza checked out the book and took it to his office to learn more of this legend.

zabuza entered his office and sat down. he opened the book and read the tale of zabuza momochi, it was exactly as his father had told except there was a lot more detail and a record of his exploits. the name of zabuzas killer was also recorded, the name of the kyuubis jinchuuriki, uzumaki naruto. zabuza then started to read the next chapter of the book. the tale of Kisame Hoshigaki and his sword Samehada (shark skin). kisame was born in kirigakure, but for some reason when hewas born he looked as if he has half man half shark, because of this he was given the nickname of "the monster of the mist" he also took the bloody and terrifying graduation test but came out of it relativley unscathed, during this test his hidden ability showed itself, his raw power, his awsome amount of chakra. after a while kisame also gained power and the status of a legendary swordsman but after a while also became a missing nin. during a long period of time it seemed as if he had dissapeared from existance but then he reappeared as a member of the criminal organisation, akatsuki. kisame then joined akatsuki in its hunt for the jinchuuriki and fell at the hands of a shinobi of konoha, but this could not have been a coincidence, again the name of his killer was recorded, uzumaki naruto. zabuza was suprised by this and turned to the next chapter of the story.

zabuza started to read the story of the third member of the seven swordsmen, Raiga Kurosuki. raiga also was subjected to the academys deathmatch, raiga closely won the battle and graduated, after a while raiga also gained power and became a member of kirigakures anbu, after a while he gained the status of one of the seven swordsmen and recived his dual spiked swords, these swords however remain nameless and were lost in the depths of time. raiga, after a while, also went missing nin and was belived dead by all but was rediscovered as the leader of a group who had taken control of a small town in the fire country. the name of raigas killers were also noted, tenten, neji hyuuga, rock lee and again, shockingly, naruto uzumaki. the rest of the book was dameged and the writing which remained mainly used an old script which was almost un-dechypherable. zabuza called his decoders and gave them the book to rediscover the lost pages. he had made up his mind, zabuza would search for the lost swords of the seven swordsmen of kirigakure.
